KARIBU – KILIFAIR
Event Overview
KARIBU–KILIFAIR is East Africa’s largest and most influential tourism and industry trade fair, held annually in June at the Magereza Grounds in Arusha, Tanzania. It brings together over 500 exhibitors from the tourism, hospitality, and cultural sectors, showcasing services, destinations, and innovations from across the region. With more than 800 international buyers and over 15,000 visitors, the event is a premier platform for B2B networking, destination marketing, and tourism partnerships.
The fair features a wide range of activities, including travel seminars, investment panels, cultural performances, food courts, and family-friendly attractions. One of its key highlights is the “East Africa Pavilion,” which promotes the region as a unified travel destination under the theme “Visit East Africa – Feel the Vibe.” Sustainability is a core focus, with eco-friendly initiatives such as waste separation, tree planting, and use of biodegradable materials. Open to both industry professionals and the general public, KARIBU–KILIFAIR plays a pivotal role in positioning Tanzania—and East Africa—as a top global tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.
